'82 headlights won't lower
I've only had this car for a year and the lights have been working fine. Tonight when I got home, the driver's headlight did not lower itself when I turned off the lights. Is there a simple fix? I see in the owner's manual how to raise them manually, but not lower. Thanks for any help.

One of my headlights did that once years ago. Seems like I replaced the vacuum reservoir check valve and that fixed it. It's located near the firewall. You can reach under the headlight and pull down on the spring mechanism to unlock it.
