I just installed A TCI converter and it came with special locking bolts/nuts. I just added some locktite and tightened them, they were very tight and I dont think there will be any problems... :seeya

Converter Bolt Torque
Well today is the install of the new TCI converter, flywheel bolts are done, and by my info the flywheel bolt torque is 60 ft/lbs but I'm unsure of the exact torque on the converter bolts. They are the larger 7/16 bolts too.

Not sure on the tq specs but you might wanna use locktite on those bolts. They have a tendency to come loose. I thought I remembered 35ft/lbs on those but not sure. Someone will come thru with an answer im sure.

I have the lock-tite ready and I'm about to lift the tranny, I was thinkin about 40 ft/lbs. If i don't see a reply, I do 35 for now, and can adjust later if necessary.

40 is good. They can handle that no prob and the locltite will add extra insurance. I never even torqued mine. I just put em good and tight with thread locker loctite. What kind of convertor did you get? What stall? What was the one you are replacing?
