Default Greenwood body kit

Does anyone know if this is for sale somewhere?

It's the only wide body kit I like, the daytona kit is butt ugly IMO as are many of the other ones. I would not mind having that on my car (this is not the kit with that ugly whale tale and the intake things on the doors)

I have no idea, if that's the case I missed it.

The only blue wide body pics I've ever seen were of an Ecklers Turbo II widebody kit and one of a daytona kit (both cars had similar blue paint and blue stripes on them) and both are not the same as this kit... I will have to look for the post :)

EDIT, I know which one you mean, the dark blue race car from ebaymotors. YES, that is the same kit. :)

Marck,

Vanacor makes a wide body kit for the 80-82.

Ecklers used to carry those kits, you might check the Web...there's a place near Tp;edo, Ohio that makes glass panels, If I can recall the name, I will post

I was looking for the Daytna kit a couple years ago. Saw it in a old Ecklers catalog. It was not in the newer catalos but after emailing Ecklers they said they would be able to make a kit if i wanted to custom order it. So send Ecklers a photo and if it similar to anyting they made it might be the way to go.

That's the same kit, I have loads of pics of that car, here it is again just for drooling purposes :)

[EDIT] .. pic doesn't show here... [and what a fricken mess this forum software makes of a few simple links... ugh... what is up with this? I can't seem to psot a decent pic or a link without all kinds of java - script gibberish ending up in my post. People must start thinking I'm writing in hebrew or something :mad

another shot at the links...let's hope they appear neatly here now:

It's not the daytona kit, it's the greenwood kit, it's pretty different and way wider than the daytona kit. The ecklers kit is the turbo II kit which is the same as the greenwood turbo GT kit, not wide enough :)

I have been looking into a wide body kit for my car also. I have found a few places that might help you out. http://www.greenwoodcorvettes.com/Streetcars.html There are 3 different kits shown here. The Sebring/GT kit a turbo GT kit and two versions of the Daytona kit. The kit I belive you are looking for is the Sebring GT kit. It is similar to the Turbo GT but there are more aggresive body lines.
http://www.acivette.com Has a few kits available. They have the Duntov body panels, The Turbo/GT and the Sebring/GT. They list the Sebring panels as 75-79 wide body GT.
this last place http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/corvette.html has alot of body panels for various years. I would call them and check to see what they still have or make, as well as for prices.
Hope this will help you in your search.

the stuff that ecklers and vanacor and the likes are selling are copies of the daytona body kit and the gt turbo kit, which are fopr street cars. The turbo kit is not nearly as wide and IMO the daytona kit is ugly with the large tail section and the running boards under the doors, I'm not too fond of the nose either
