81 Gauge Cluster Circuit replacement
When I pulled my friends 81 cluster out the ciruit board was toast. It was taped up and had 3 or 4 burns throughs on it.
I got a replacement and went to install it. I noticed that where it connects to the temp gauge it doesn't fit right. As you can see below, the first pic is of the original which also didn't fit. The second shows where the circuit wants to go, and the 3rd shows what is underneath.
Anyone seen this before and know where it goes?

That little tab you are holding is for a gauge cluster with a clock. You must tape that exposed copper end completely as the old is. There should be a seperate 3 wire connector for the gauge thats in the same wiring harness. Hope this helps. :thumbs:
