Just saw the C6 for the 1st time at the Ft Lauderdael car show yesterday. Its very nice & I''m sure its a great car & I wouldnt mind 1 in my garage a roadtser or a Z06 But that front end looks like a Mini C3 nose :lol:
"Youre the Diet Coke of Macho Vettes, Just 1 calorie, Not Macho enough" :lol:
You suppose the C6 will have hood envy when you park it next to a C3 ? :D :cheers:
I'm certain that they are fine automobiles, but in 30 years the C5's and 6's are going to be nightmares to keep on the road. Very complex machines....lots of electronics that will have been obsolete for a long time....

Mjolitor did you ever finish your 68 ? I would love the opportunity to won a C5/C6, but looking at my C3 up on jackstands with no hood/ wheels looks just too cool :D Even after 7 years ownership, I still enjoy looking at my C3's shape ;)
In the long run...the C6 will be just as boring as the C5s are now. I see them every day. They look just like every other boring car.
:iagree: I may be in the market for a C6 vert, but............. I am waiting to see what the verts really look like in real life. Sure would be nice to have a car just to drive and not to work on and then drive. They are complex and are a whole new ballgame to work on them. Maintenance will be high. I can buy a whole new set of tires for my C3 for just the price of one run-flat. I'm sure the sharks will turn heads more often then the C6 will. I have my C3 so long it is like part of my family. I am not sure I could bear to part with my C3 and don't have garage space for both. I love my C3 but.............. :D
:beatdeadhorse:
Like the back end of the C6 compared to the C5. The front end looks too much like a Viper for my taste. $ for $ tho, against Porche or Ferrari you can't beat the handling of the 5 or 6. The C3 is a straight line rocket from the '60s. Underneath, really the "independent rear" is nowhere close.
Ain't nobody with 2 living brain cells ever confused a C3 with anything other than Chevrolet Motor Division;
wait'll the C6 owners begin hearing "You got a Hemi in 'dat?"
:yesnod:
