Water diverters, they really work...
I used to think that my T-tops leaked, but I did not have my water diverters installed. I did a new weatherstrip job this winter and found that my car still leaked. Then I installed the water diverters and my problem is mostly fixed. I opened the door and watched as I poured water on the top of the car. The water ran down the side and around the rear weather strip and down the inside of the door jamb. Then the water hit the diverter and went right out the bottom of the jamb.(there is a little grove there just for this) Before the water would just pour into the inside of the car. I can not believe that I have not put these on before. :bb

That and my lack of plastic inserts in the doors has resulted in 3 inches of water on the floor a couple of times :eek: :eek: Soon to be fixed!

What do the diverters look like? It rains here 5 days a year and every time I go to try and fix my T-Top leak I figure what the heck, it isn't raining now.

I bought some 6 mil plastic from Home Depot, the kind used in construction as a temporary barrier, or in painting to keep spray contained. It's in the paint section and cost me about $6 for a 25 foot roll which is more than I'll ever need. I'll have to cut out hole for the door lock, etc. but really it shouldn't be too involved of a project. I also bought epoxy meant for plastics, so this stuff will never come off again :D
