Default Help me identify these parts

I took these off a 1972 Corvette front bumper but They are not correct for that particular car can anyone help?

They look to me like they should be mounted vertically under the bumper going to the valance panel. I would have thought they came off a midyear Vette. Not real sure though.

68-69 used these too. there are dimensional difference between the two . Go to the ncrs board and do a search and I am sure you'll find the answer

This is what ecklers is selling as a 1968 bumper guard same as my 72 and not even close to the pictures I posted above Eclers part number for a 1968 is Part# A8145L and for 1972 is Part# A8146L with this same picture and all you 68 69 guys know the pieces I asked the question about don't match your cars.

I tried to buy some of these not to long ago on ebay. I got sniped and they were NOS also. I wound up just getting mine rechromed. Looks like a good buy to me.

By the looks of the parts you are buying, your car is in good hands with its current owner. :thumbs:

Eddie 70 Thanks for the compliment The parts bolt right up just like the correct parts they just arent shaped the same at all. Too small for a 70 camaro BTW nice 70 Camaro!
