Yes - these things are utter crap - I still won't buy anything from Corvette Central after they sold me one of these POS and wouldn't take it back.

And saying "Corvette" on the front is real cool - until the cheap sticker falls off and you have a hole in your crappy radio.

You could always get the new consoles that have the DIN hole already cut into it. I replaced mine with a JVC standard DIN because mine was already cut up. I think the pre-cut ones run about $85(?) or so.

where did you see those????

You can buy just the bezel and cut yours, or buy the pre-cut guage panel/bezel

I just finished wiring in my adapter for my pioneer cd unit , while I was in there I wired in an fm modulator for my XM radio receiver :party:

I've been using a Kenwood modified by CAS and been very happy with it. It's their house brand that is a poor performer.....
