So did you pull the dist vac hose off and retard the timing or just do the timing? I've been trying to get a 85 S10 through here in CT and retarded the timing 4* but HC were still high. They came down but just short of the limit.

No need now,just got a letter from the "fine" :rolleyes: emission company AGBAR- it seems they never got their computer software correct after months of delays. They said my truck is ok and I just wasted time and money :rant:

Well i just swapped my carb with another that i found in the shed. It has already been rebuilt and all i need is a new throttle bracket and an o-ring. The new carb is a holley 4175 with vaccuum secondarys and 650cfm. Do you guys think this thing will do the trick?
