Walbro 340 pump in an 82?
Hi,
I have a Walbro 340 in-tank pump out of a 4th generation F-body with an LT1. I was wondering if this pump can be installed in place of the intank pump in our 82. It's a nice unit and would be a convenient upgrade since we already have the pump and the stock pump just isn't going to cut it anymore. I don't really like the idea of using an external pump to pull the fuel from a tube in the factory location since external fuel pumps are designed for pushing rather than pulling. Any other options if this won't work? Any input is apprected. Thanks.

I don't know what the wiring difference will be with that pump.
