Default LT-1 or ZR-1 ?

Probably neither. Just another ebay buyer beware. The ad with "matching numbers" M-22 and CTV block implies ZR-1. Car has power steering and alarm system which were not available with ZR-1 as well as 5500 redline tach. Most likely not even LT-1.

I thought the LT-1= Small Block and ZR1 = Big Block? no?

It doesn't have the LT-1/BB hood either. :nonod:

ZR-1 was special race package that came with LT-1 engine, heavy duty brakes, M-22, aluminum radiator, and special suspension. Options that usually couldn't be selected seperately. ZR-2 was same thing with BB, but only available with LS-6 in 71. Good point on the hood. How did I miss that one.

Love the side moldings!

The tach is wrong for an LT-1, wrong hood, etc...

Just waiting for the newbie

Ditto the hood. I'm no expert but I've never seen an LT-1 that didn't have the BB hood with pianted stripping. Also never seen a painted data plate. Here goes real mouse nuts........ The shifter plate on my '71 has countersunk flat faced screws, replacement screws were countersunk round faced. The pix showing eng hp , torque etal has one of each.

lots of questionables on that one as to whether it truly is an LT-1 - and in no way is it a ZR-1. To me it looks like an L-48 but over the years parts might have been replaced with "C3 parts" by a service tech. and the owner might not have known or cared. I used to have 74 2002 Tii that when the tach broke the dealership replaced it with a stock 2002 one, I didn't even notice initially, and didn't really care at that time either the car was only 3 years old who thought of classic NOS parts then.

Yeah..usually the goof fakes will at least be cosmetically correct. This one can't even get the hood right!

Anyone notice:
1. 1968-1969 Seats.
2. Angled plug heads, I thought all the production C3 heads were straight plug.
3. Intake has a hot air setup, not a divorced choke style as original LT-1 car would have.
4. Car is running an HEI not a point style distributor.
