Yeah, the engine is in the car !!!
Well I picked up the new engine yesterday and some friends came over to lend a hand getting it in there :D
You know I'm getting serious when I'm about to jump up and down on the engine to stuff it in there (oops, that's right it's just a smallblock :lolg: )
And this is how far I've gotten today:
Now just the exhaust, waterpump, alt., power steering pump, etc... :crazy:

Eddie I've got most everything,b ut I'll be getting aluminum pulleys and my -8 fuel hose has been on back order for 3 weeks now. The builder said I should be fine with the stock fuel line for driving on the street, but if I want to rarce then I should install the larger line.

Paul, yes now that it's actually in the car I am getting very anxious to fire it up :yesnod:
Stingraymaniac it basically a destroked 400. It has the 400 (4.125)bore, buty has a 3.625 stroke vs 3.750. It's 11.0:1 compression with a full roller cam & valvetrain. There's more info on my site in the engine section ;)

1yy07 yes it's a Fram filter that will be on it for 20 minutes then cut apart afterwards. Where do you by the WIX 51061 filters, I don't recall seeing Wix locally ?
