I have a quick question for you regarding you speaker box. How did you fasten it down? I tried using the existing rear speaker brackets but it required a convoluted bracket that was not readily accessible and the original bracket was not capable of handling the extra weight of the speaker box under deceleration.
.....Nobody better come and call it ricey though. The term 'rice' is getting too loose. But hey, I'm 17, and I want a system in my car. Once it's glassed and painted black to match the car I think it'll look fine.
Naaaawwww......you'd hafta put a wing on it, run some "neon", and add some chinese writing characters to the fender before it's an official rice machine ! :jester
As far as money for my baby goes...I work my butt off. I'm a web developer/programmer. It gets me by. We DO get raped on insurance. I was paying 6100/year when I was 16, and now it's only down to 4500/year.
And the box should be heavy enough on its own, so I won't have to do much 'fastening'. =)
I'm going away for a week, but when I get back and do some more progress on the speaker box I'll bump this thread.
Nice! i think the box is sweet! i would have gone with diffrent speakers, and put the tweets in the doors, but then it would have been real hard to bring back to stock. keep up the good work! fiberglass work sucks! :D
