Australian Corvette Convention pics to be posted tonight
I tried posting some pic but I think they are too big for the forum. I will try again tonight after work.
:cry
OK, I have some of the pics up now. They are further down in the post. The forum seems to reject some the pics I tried to post earlier.
I still haven't found out if they are too big to post and I am heading over to Help to ask some questions.
The Forum is now working properly again and all the pics are coming up. Sorry about some of the doubles but I was having major grief trying to post all the pics.
James
Let's see if these pics come out.

Re: Australian Corvette Convention pics to be posted tonight (1FUNVET)
1FUNVET,where have all the brown ones gone?Presumably, they all became red ones!!!!!.....given the thousands of dk brown produced,it is good to see at least 2 have survived.....anyway,i like the colour so much i have just resprayed it the same in the face of many asking why i would do a silly thing like that........at the convention there were about 250 cars and only 1 dark brown,so it sort of stood out.......john ;)

Still having no luck with the pics. Links work directly though
On the General's banked track at the proving ground at Lang Lang http://home.pacific.net.au/~rhd.68.l89/banked.jpg
My friend Spiro's 63 coupe http://home.pacific.net.au/~rhd.68.l89/split63.jpg
The line up of Vettes on the banked circle track http://home.pacific.net.au/~rhd.68.l89/lineup.jpg
Spiro and myself in in the line up http://home.pacific.net.au/~rhd.68.l89/meandspiro.jpg
and lastly, we got to look at a GTo which was at the proving ground for reliability evaluation
http://home.pacific.net.au/~rhd.68.l89/gto.jpg
There were over 200 Vettes at the Convention and we had the Show and Shine at Albert Park Lake in the Formula one pits.
Still cant figure out why the pics won't show. I have done this before with my server.

For some reason the forum does not like the capitals on the .jpg suffix

Have a look at these. They are up to 1 meg in size though.
Ok, now I am running out of space on my server.

.........great pics........
.....your URL says it's a .jpg, but when you save the photo it comes up as .bmp......which is very weird.......the pic of Spiro's 63 is 2MB, which is pretty big.......try opening the pics in Windows Paint or Photoshop and saving them as lower resolution jpg's.......bitmaps are no good for the internet.......
Hope this helps......
