I know there was some recent conversation on shiftplates for 5 or 6 speed conversions. I just received mine from Keisler and thought I would share. FYI they cost $10 each.

Re: Keisler Shiftplate pics (Gordonm)
Hey thanks, that reminds me. I talked with them at Corvette Expo and forgot about the plate all together. I may ride over today and get me one.
I should also mention that if you recently purchased one of Keisler's kits you may have been charged for a shiftplate. Check you packing list. If so, they should have automatically mailed you a shiftplate. :)
Keisler offers an aftermarket replica of the Corvette T-Handle that fits the Tremec. So I went with it. The shifter **** is actually kind of cool. It looks like it is an off-black onyx (I know its not, but it give that impression, at least to me).
Hopefully someday. And by the way love the rims. if you don't mind what did you pay for them?
You had to ask - a few pennies short of $1600. That included new center caps, which you would need for the 17" wheels, the centers painted grey, and shipping. Pricey - Yes, but they are what what I wanted.

Re: Keisler Shiftplate pics (1971Ultra)
I went over and picked up 2 shifter patterns. If anyone wants one let me know you can have it for what I paid for it, $10. This is for the early model console like the one in my 70 or as pictured above.
This brings up an interesting point. First is where my reverse is now. After I install the new transmission, I can just see myself looking back over my shoulder, throwing it in "reverse" out of habit, and smashing into something in front of me!!

Is that the same as the '68? I need one. I called Keisler and as usual they didn't know what I was talking about and said they would get back to me
