With Dave (Cali68)'s help on Friday, everything was disconnected and left for Sundays pulling job. took all of 45 minutes to assemble the cherry picker, hook it to the engine, drop teh crossemember and pull engine and tranny as a unit from the car.
I will post a few picts once I figure Daves Camera out... he showed it to me, but classic me - in one ear - out the other. Its charging now, and i need to take a pict of the engine/tranny combo on the rolliong engine trolley.
Next weekend is stripping and delousing, removal of all accessories. I've ordered the majority of my remaining parts...so soon I will be painting the engine bay and redoing all the vacuum and electrical lines.
Stay tuned...
Thanks to Cali, for his help on Friday.

Motor looks great! Good luck with your engine swap. Looks like you have your time tied up for a while!!!
I finally got the 3.70's in my '74... I hope to have a new battery for it and on the road in the next couple weeks!

First - for all of those who wondered how I ran sidepipes with full length headers, I intruduce the patented - Calliope exhaust!!!!!
The running joke at the muffler shop was what sort of industrial strength water pipe was i making....
Here is the engine and Trans out of the car and on the trolley.....
Next weekend is delousing the engine bay - i.e. complete degreasing and dissassembly of accessories in preparation for paint....
Stay tuned.
