Default Selling my '75 Convertible

If anyone's interested or know someone that might be I've decided to sell my '75. It was a hard decision since this car has been very good and reliable but I want to go on the hunt for an older bumpered Vert later this year. :yesnod:

There's also a link to a webpage I set up for the sale in my sig. ;)

That's very pretty car. And rare. Only 4,629 convertibles were produced in 1975 (last year for the C3 vert). Good luck with the sale!

Appreciate it guys :yesnod:
This car has been a pleasure and I'm sure her next owner will have a good time with her too

I thought long and hard about putting her up for sale but I hear an older Vert calling to me somewhere out there. :yesnod: Hopefully a nice solid 4-speed '69.

Your 75 is very nice, but you are making a good choice to go older, because even though a 75 convt is rare and last yr for C3 convt but a chrome bumper vette is a better investment in the long run.

I'd love to buy your car, but unfortunately I can't afford it... It will be too expensive after all the transportation and taxes... :smash:

Cajun

How did you mount your 6X9 speakers in the rear. I would like to install them in the rear of mine. I was looking at a speaker box from Ecklers that mounts between the wheel wells.

Thanks,
Ed

Hopefully a nice solid 4-speed '69.
 At least you are selling her for another Vette. :D You should be able to find a nice '69 since the '69 model year has the highest production #'s of any chrome bumper C3. Best of luck, it's tough selling one of your Vettes. :(

ED..There are two boxes. One for the three speakers and one for the amps, head unit and CD player. They both just sit back there and are not bolted down as the tight fit together keeps them in place.

The speaker box is a plywood enclosure made up of three airtight compartments...one for each of the speakers with the largest for the 10" sub in the middle.

My primary concern was to put something back there that I could hear over wind noise with the top down AND could be compartmentalized for installation/removal without affecting the integrity of the original interior.

Good luck with your install :yesnod:

Thanks Cory & FinnShark
I know there's a limited market for this type of Vette considering it's originality and miles but I'm sure someone will snap it up sooner or later.

For my next one I'm not too worried about it being original, in fact I will seek one that isn't. I want a 4-speed I can modify and play with as long as it hasn't been previously wrecked and the frame is good.

Cajun

Any problem putting the top down with the speaker boxes? Also what about the interior lamp in the back?
