Default Thanks Norval...

...for the upper cross-shaft idea. I drilled mine to increase the caster and it worked really well.

Just got it from the alignement shop friday and the car feel really stable at highway speed. I can take my hand off the wheel and the car steer straight as an arrow. The only thing left is that the 255 50R17 have a tendency to follow the imperfection of the road. Maybe my bump steer is really off.

Here the specs:

Front

Camber: -0.4 degree
Caster: 5.0 degrees
Toe in: 0.05 degree (total)

Rear

Camber: -0.5 degree
Toe in: 0.14 degree (total)

The technician worked is butt off. It took 3 hours to do it right but in the end it was perfect from one side to the other. It was all worth it.

Your welcome Stephen. Glad it helped. I am running hand made cross shafts with the holes located 1/4 inch further towards the back and at the same time about .300 more camber built in.

Those homemade shafts looks really nice.

P.S. By any chance, do you go to the Wasaga Beach in august. I'm planning my vacation to go there. We could take one or two...

Bye

Cool, I can't wait until I can start asking Norval some questions when I start to attack my own suspension !
