Default 71 OWNERS

Have any of you 71 owners tried or installed Flowmasters 40 on your car. I went this week for a price and was told the 40's would not fit. I had them installed on my 80 and they fit just fine. I dont see a difference in the two

I don't know about the 40 series but I do have the 50 series mounted on my car.

I'm having new pipe with Flowtech Afterburners installed in the morning. I'll report back with the results. I have high expectations. By the way, I got the center in, offset out ones....and since they are reversible, a fit was virtually guaranteed.

this Aint a great shot but I have 40 series flows with 2 1/2 pipe. You can see where they start.
I am using a CF spring and have the spare tire carrier.

I love the sound.
....it s what a Old school musle car should sould like.

cheers

Thanks everyone, now that I know they will fit I'll try another shop. Is there much of a difference between the 40's and 50's sound wise. Loud is better since its a weekend car

Go to the Flowmaster website...they have audio clips, and you can hear them and decide for yourself :) http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cg...ml?id=ZH7kFkS7
