Jacobs Spark Plug Wires
I bought the Jacobs plug wires with ceramic boots ($150) because other boots don't hold up to the heat of the headers on my '71 big block. On the #1 plug, the ceramic boot is actually touching the header. Does anyone know if the boot will hold up to this heat? I didn't finish the installation so that I can send them back if necessary.

You will have no problem , I have a ceramic boot that has been touching the header for two years . The jacobs were a very good investment as far as I am concerned .
