I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAS ONE. THEY MOUNT ON THE TOP OF WINDSHIELD AND ARE SUPPOSE TO CUT DOWN ON WIND AND NOISE COMING IN BY 75%. ECKLERS AND MID AMERICA SELL THEM.
HOW WELL DO THEY WORK AND ARE THEY WORTH HAVING ONE?
I have seen them for sale too and I have wondered about them. If you are in a Corvette convertible...is not the wind and stuff why are driving a convertible ?
Do I have to spell it out? OK... I have one. I love it. I use it all the time. It works extremely well. If it broke, I'd get another one. Once you use one, you'll never want to be without it. I cruise down the freeway at 80-90 mph (sorry, officer) and find it to be comfortable ride. It's also useful as a sunshade when driving in the late afternoon.
As the emoticons say: :D :yesnod: :chevy  :steering: :hurray: :smiliedrool: :grouphug:
How does it mount. Into the ttop holes on the front head piece I am sure, but is it a quick install and unintall? How is it held secure in the center area?
Too big to be in rear hatch area? During summer time, I would like to have it with me and be able to take off ttops and put on windjammer quickly and easily.
It uses 2 screws with grommets that go through the t-top mounting holes. Once the tops are off and stored, it takes 2 minutes to install. Some folks have engineered quick disconnects...but mine basically stays on until the weather gets too hot :yesnod:
