Default Crazy Looking '68

I am shopping for an old school hot rod. T Bucket or something along those lines and I was looking at the George Barris site and saw this:

http://www.barris.com/gallery_cosmaray.html

Crazy looking!

Looks like Firebird headlights under the bumpers. I would have liked to see more pics of the car.

The lines of the car look more like a C2 than a C3.

I agree but it says it's a '68. There are some more killer cars on that site in the Gallery. Some of the sleds are very cool!

George Barris sure did some wild things  It does look like a C2 with C3 fender humps.

I'm gonna research it some more. It looks more like a midyear than a shark. I think the site has it wrong.

not a lot of information out there about the car. here's a better angle, that shows the midyear lines more clearly:

and here's a model kit they made of it:

Sure looks like a modified '67 as opposed to '68, but you would think that the creator's own website would have their facts straight..
