It seems as if I have lost 2nd gear in my TH350 Auto Transmission. It seems to shift fine but if you really stand on it in low gear and rev it up when it shifts into 2nd gear the tac just goes way high and it is like it is really slipping... If you are in third gear and stand on it it shifts down and the tac goe way hi and it seems as if it is slipping real bad again..
If you are gentle with it it seems to shift just fine..
Is it time for a new Transmission or is it something simple...???

Do NOT drive the car. Get it looked at by a good tranny man. I'll say it again for emphasis: do NOT drive the car.
The damage (whether from mis-ajustment, normal wear and tear or abuse) will only get worse (spread) as it is driven more. Components that have gone bad share the same oil as those that are still good, which is to say the good parts may be swimming in shrapnel-laden oil. I'm not saying that this is the case, but it is very likely. You are probably going to need a re-build.
