My 468 is an AR engine. I was local and picked it up, so I got it pretty quick. No problems so far.

Nastee I was wondering if you oredered your engine from AR, haven't heard anything in so long  , hopefully it'll be as nice as GS's :steering:
I did but I'll tell you what, if I had it to do all over again I wouldn't go near them. They screw around too much, are hard to reach and just generally a pain to deal with. I could deal better with the long build time and the fact that I payed upfront if they would answer my inquiries about the status. I check once a month on the status and if I didn't get in touch with them they definitely wouldn't contact me. I don't see how they get repeat business. I guess if they hear about this I'll get a turd for a motor. For those who aren't familiar, I payed for this motor on January 19th. I don't care if it is custom it shouldn't take forever. I'm just a little frustrated. I'll get over it I'm sure!

It's not difficult to get 525 HP from a 383.. Forum member lotahp has a 525 HP 383 in his '73 and runs mid 11's...
Olivier---My 383ci has a hydraulic roller cam, ported aluminum Canfield heads, 10.5:1 compresion, and Weiand Team G single plane intake. Also, I'll be dyno testing/tuning the motor with the motor in the car. I wish I could have it all dynoed and tuned before I install but I plan to break it in for a couple thousand miles before I really abuse it and the place I'm going to only has a chassis dyno

What are the specs on your roller cam? (lift/duration @ .050)??
How big are the runners on the Canfield Heads??? They are 210 cc -right??
