Thanks for posting this. I have a fairly newly rebuilt diff that is leaking at the side yokes. Hopefully this will help solve those leaks.

Hello GTR1999...I took my 78 C3 to a mechanic...First there was a "wheer" in rear diff.when you let off the gas.... with slight throttle
and it went away...he disassembled ,found some bad bearings,replaced
them...still wheering...replaced pinion/ring with higher ratio (my request)..it started ."groaning" @ low
speed...he said clutches,( they didn't groan before he replaced ring/pinion)..he added additive..."noise should go away in approx 200 mile.or
we'll have to replace clutches. can you replace clutches and should they be lubed during changing of clutches and not add lube later...to work itself in..?
