A buddy of mine has a set on a '73. The org. owner told him that the dealer installed them on the car when it was new...but it was not a factory option...

Yeah, these are a standard rim...........they come standard on all of the poor taste shet boxes you find on ebay :rolleyes:
Also you could order them if you could prove that you were a genuine pimp...........and maybe get'em on your Caddy as well :D

wire wheels... they belong on old british cars, the kind that mark their spot with oil :lol: Spokes are soooo ancient, I wouldn't want them on any car of mine...ever. Imagine having to readjust the spokes or replace them when they rust and get loose (you can hear it,when you strike them they should make a nice ping sound, not a thud). what a PITA.

I think I read somewhere, that some cars had a dealer installed set of wire wheels like that. But nothing like that came from the factory.
