Re: more progress (Twin_Turbo)
Good job Double T. I think those huemungus stainless allen head bolts look cool and fit right in with all the custom work.
When do you think your car will be finished?
uhm..somtime in the future LOL. Maybe next year...yeah, definitely next year.
Don't let'm rush ya. Making custom parts takes time to make'm right. Its much better to build it right now than have to make fixes later (or blow it up). :steering:
How did you build your tilt mechanism, im going to receive my onepiece tilt front end in a week, and was wondering of how to make the mechanism. Did you just buy it from somewhere or build it yourself? If you built it yourself i would HIGHLY appreciate it if you emailed me about how you did it. Any help will be appreciated

killer, I built the hinge myself. You can actually see how I did it. The front frame extension is modified (only the round pipe is stock, the front section is custom made and has 2 ears on it with hinges). there's a subframe oin the front end. The front clip is glassed together from a the main clip, the bumper and the hood. Check the other topic called finally made progress and the one called my flip front flips...yeah (look in profile and click topics created)
Here's my power steering cooler, the scoop will go under it and span the width of the opening under the front, then run back to the radiator.
Sides put back on for mockup, the intercoolers will sit behind it. It's either there or cut holes in the hood a la Callaway and I don't think I want to do that.
Just looked at your My flip front flips post, did you bond the subframe to the front end? or are there bolts or rivets?
Looks very  , and i think i might do the same setup as you, thanks for the help
the subframe bolts to the nose and header bar, at the same locations as the light buckets bolt to it. And I also used the large cage nut in the front of the nose, it's the one in the middle.
