Not all 427 motors are 4 bolt main. It depends on which one you have. The 390 HP usually has 2 bolts but some have come through with 4 bolt. The higher HP motors have 4 bolt main.

My 69 has a 512 block that has two bolt mains. It is a 400 hp, but it is a factory replacement block that was put in when the car was a year and a half old. The only way to be sure is to look.

390 & 400 hp 427's were 2 bolt, 425/435 hp blocks were 4 bolt. With a few exceptions, only solid lifter engines were 4 bolt. I believe 4 bolt blocks will have a threaded plug above the oil filter but 2 bolts won't.
