What do you mean they don't cover our vettes? I just got a quote from Grundy on my 1970 and for kicks I just got a quote on a 1978 as well.

it's been a while since i got my quote from them, but when i filled out the paperwork they told me they won't cover a C3 unless it's part of a large collection. If you search for grundy you'll see others had the same problem.
but like i said it was a while ago, so maybe they are allowing them again...
If I remember correctly, Grunday would not insure a C3 unless it was a stock all original (read NCRS). New wheels? New carb/intake? Hooker Side pipes? No coverage for you!
Most other companies we contacted were more liberal in their view of "stock". You obviously couldn't cover a drag car that was based on a C3, but Hagerty covered our's that has a crate motor and side pipes (crate motor is the same CI as the original).
I just talked with Grundy the other day and they quoted me $343 for a modified 1970 covered at $25000. I told them of all my mods and they said it would not be a problem. If the car is stock, the premium is about half of the modified premium.
