Hooker Sidemount headers and sidepipe question
I am about to order some hooker sidemount headers and sidepipes, and i was just double checking to see how the ceramic coating matched up with the chrome pipes finish wise. Does it look right? or are the shrome pipes brighter than the headers? Will it be noticeable? ANy other opinions are welcomed. I cannot afford chrome headers, so that idea is out. Thanks

Jet Hot has an awesome coating that actually has a nice luster to it. The Hooker coating is crap.
Jet Hot has everything, headers and pipes. They buy the bare headers from Hooker and coat them.

"The Hooker coating is crap".....You got that right!!!
I have had a set of SS Hookers with Sidepipes for just over a year.
The coating is pealing off all around the area where the sides go into the collectors as well as on the underside of the headers.
I'm thinking about having them metal hot coated at a local shop.....jethot is too far away from where I am.
As soon as they start expanding and contracting the "CREST" (corrosion resistant steel or stanless steel) bubbles and then peels when you try to treat it with polish. :banghead:
