SPACE SAVER SPARE
Does anybody have a space saver spare for their C3?
I thought late model Camaro would fit.
If you have one, what make and model did it come from?

Ya'know, that's a good question. I used to use a space saver spare in my 80 vette. I've always had a nitrous bottle in my spare tire carrier. It fit perfectly with the space saver spare from my 74 Z-28 Type LT Camaro. I carried 1/4 " aluminum spacers so that the spare wheel would clear the vette brake caliper. I still have that 74 space saver but it's so old that I don't trust it as a spare anymore. I'd like a new ss spare. So, if somebody knows of a new space saver spare, it would be a big help.

Be careful using a space saver spare on the rear. The difference in size between the normal and space saver will cause issues with the posi diff. Driving even a few miles may very well heat/burn it up as this condition would be the same as driving this distance in a circle.
