i have aluminum bracket off i believe a 1980 to 1982 vette,it bolts to the front of drivers head,looks to move alternator out board a small amount.i am happy with this bracket.

VetteMike, I'm sure the brackets will fit, on the drivers/alternator side, bolt right on, like my '72 with serp drive and aluminum L98 pump, and C4 power steering setup, which as I recall you can use the '72 pump and canister, but don't quote me on that....the thing is, in that changeover, some earlier stock iron heads did not have an extra boss and bolt hole on the pass side up top, so doing the a/c compressor for a later C4 with Sanden/sankyo, san something compressor will work fine and fit well, but that top bolt near the intake manifold will not work....

Not sure exactly what you are trying to do, but I have a complete L98 TPI serpentine setup on my 69. It looks great. I used an air pump eliminator from Breathless, had a high-pressure p/s line made, everything else is in about the same place. the later C4 alternators are junk. Get the air pump eliminator for an 84-85 and use that alternator. It has the same plug-ins as a C3 alternator. If you do that you must use the reverse-rotating C4 water pump. I was afraid to hang a fan on it, so I am also using C4 dual electric fans.
