Filled up this AM at $2.02. But what the heck, it's such a nice day today, the tees are off and I'd be driving even at double that price.

With the hike in gas prices I am just using the time to pull my car down for some upgrades. I think I am going to do the interior and brakes soon. It is hard being in college and paying for gas on two vehicles.

Gas is 2.05 in Atlanta. That was this morning though. I heard that it was over 3.00 a gallon in CA somewhere. Remember gas wars? .18 a gallon. :flag

I filled up with regular at $1.78 a gallon in north Georgia. Where the heck are you getting gas?
The Atlanta area seems to be the cheapest in the nation.

I.78 is incredible. Is that for the cheap stuff. Everywhere i've seen inside I-285 is at 1.85/1.95/2.05 Not as bad as most places, though. I guess it's since we use so much we get good rates.

This was the price on I-75 yesterday near Rome for regular. I actually saw a few pennies cheaper in places. Drive outside the perimeter and that seems to be the going rate. Probably going up as we speak.

So I'm guessing that includes a bit of federal tax, eh? I know in Switzerland (where I'm from) it's about half taxes that fund transportation and social services.

I wouldn't mind as much for the higher gas prices, but what annoys me is everything has risen. Everything costs more. Well, not everything has gone up, I'm still getting paid my same crappy wage.

This will even make the europeans feel better.
Gas here is $1.89/gal. But at the marina where I keep my boat, it's $2.39/gal.
Now the good part.
My cruiser gets 0.86 miles/gallon. Anyone want to trade fuel bills this year?
Gary
