This question is from a fellow Rochester area Corvette owner:
Are there any custom exhaust system installers in our area ?? I'm interested in having a chambered system installed with the balance pipe. I don't have much confidence in the guys at the muffler shops that I've been to, and was hoping you could point me in the right direction.
Yea I cant wait til this summer when I get sidepipes and can finally get rid of the ugly rusted duals I have now. I can't wait to show off the IRS.
Re: The other reason for sidepipes (CrossedFlags77)
Very nice and also disturbing to find someone as **** as I am. Take a look Jack stands all four corners along with bricks under the tire's this thing is not going to fall on me unless the ground gives way. :)

I wish I could help. I've always done my own exhaust system work on the Corvette. I'll ask some of the old hot rodders at work where they go.
There are jack stands holding the car, placed under the frame if you look closer... and the blocks I am certain are just to prevent the tires from "hanging" and putting stress on the c-clips on the axle stubs in the rear! a VERY good idea indeed!

Re: The other reason for sidepipes (stingraymaniac)
John: no to the log cabin my son has soccer practice.
Larry B.: Jack stand on on each corner have most of the cars weight on them.
BIGsteve: I do must of my own work so sorry on the exhaust question. I wouldn't trust the local midas shop either. Have you checked with Drakes on Ridgeway Ave. by 390, they may know someone. The chambered exhaust that I put on my car 6 years ago is current installed on a Red 68 convert.

Red73: Thanks, I'll give them a call. I was going to check with Dave Cooley too.

I think they even have a bender there... Lakeside Alignment @ 1687 Dewey Ave.
Suposedly Corvette Club members get a discount. I've never had work done there. Perhaps Red73 has?
