That's very cool, wouldn't mind my 81 having a split like that.

I like it, I think it would look even better on a newer Vette without the rear spoiler

Re: C3 Split Window! (MotorHead)
Almost looks like he took a wrecked 63 and fab'd in the window area.
63 splits are great looking and certainly have WOW appeal for body design. But they are totally getting way out there $$$$wise.
There's a guy that has a body shop east of here that has a complete 63 split window body/doors/hood/glass and is at bare primer. I took a look underneat and it looks pristine except for one small repair area on the left rear. No frame or any running gear. WANTS $30K! He's been trying to sell it for over a year. Every now-and-then I see him at Randolph trying to sell it from a flatbed. I told him he should take it to Carlisle, but he said "that's too far to haul it".
BTW: In the late 60's there was some company that put out a kit to remove the split and install a 64 glass. Guess they did not like not being able to use the rear view mirror either. If anyone still has one of those chopped up 63's I bet they are kicking themselves everyday.

Re: C3 Split Window! (crf311)
I like that alot. The rear flares are a bit to big, IMO and I like the front end, looks like a 73 ended up being the donor.

I won't even consider Pin stripes on mine but I gotta say I really like this one. Never seen any one molding a split onto what looks like a '73 T. Stunning!!!
