rewind to the spring of 2001.. I just put a new engine in my car.. but stupid me forgot to hook up my oil pressure line at the dash. oil poured out all over my carpet.. destroying it. ripped it out.. drove around without carpet for a couple months.. crashed my car.. found used RED carpet that was being thrown out at the vette shop I was workin for.. so I snagged it. Then dyed it black.. (well, tried to) and put it in the car.
I just bought Al Knoch carpet and WTF was I thinking putting that old busted carpet in my car.

I will assume the car was fixed. I was thinking why would someone be putting carpet in a wrecked car.
OMG!!! I was trying to think of something nice to say - but then I finally figured out that the red carpet on the left is the "dyed" carpet. I thought that was the oil-soaked carpet you took OUT of the vette!!
What WERE you thinking??? :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:
(Probably same thing I was thinking when I chopped up my exhaust, bubba-ed my clutch rod, bubba-ed my brakelite switch, wrapped a tin can around my radiator hose, etc etc.... "I can do this myself and save some money!" )
