I just removed the broken off starter bolt in my '68 and re-installed the starter.. Now I try to figure out how to install the starter brace... Does anyone have pics??
Re: How do I install the starter motor brace?? (70vert)
You talking about the strap/link that goes from the end of the starter to the block?
I can take a picture tonight. Basically, it goes onto one of the cap bolts that has an extended threaded section beyond the "nut" portion. From there it bolts to the block. Pretty basic.

Looks like they list one for a 68-69 only.
However, your block is not original ... so maybe you need one for a mid 70's.
Maybe your block doesn't even have the tapped hole - dunno.
If it doesn't, maybe you caould have a strap made up that goes to a header
bolt ... or motor mount bolt.

I modified the brace to fit my block.. I had to drill an extra hole into the brace... I hope that it'll keep the starter motor bolt from breaking again!!
