Rear Rotor Removal Question
1982 Corvette
I am trying to remove the rear rotors so that I can replace the parking brakes, but I am having trouble. The Haynes book that I have says in one part to drill the tops of the rivets off to remove the rotors. I did this, but it did not work. In another part, it said to DRILL OUT the rivets, not just the tops of them. I am going to have to go and get another drill bit if I am going to have to completely drill them out. Any help on this matter would be helpful. If it is just the tops, then any suggestions as to why I am having a hard time getting the rotors off.

You don't have the parking brake on, do you?
