John, you should have gotten "T" headed bolts with the sidepipes. The head or "T" goes into the slots in the side of the frame. The bolts attach to the tabs on the side of the sidepipes. You can then attach the rubber isolators which will keep them from rattling and from transmitting noise into the interior. Did you get the sidepipes used? Charles

I am making my own side pipes. They are going to be a modified version of Corvette Forum member Wrenchers design. I'll be posting pics as soon as I get them on the car.
