need trans help
I just had my muncie rebuilt and I was going to put the trans oil in before I put it back into the car. But the filler plug is very stuck even tried to heat it with a tourch but it is really stuck, so I thought I could put in the hole where the speedo drive cable goes in but I have no real way of telling when it is full considering the fill plug is lower yhan the speedo plug, so has anyone ever done this and so how many quarts will be safe

The Muncie 4 speeds take 3 pints to fill. You can fill it there but I would work on the plug to get it out. If you have to do it in the car it will be more difficult.

I'm with Gordo on this one. Your best opportunity to get it out will be now when it is on the bench. If you don't get it out now, future oil changes will be a PITA. Try soaking the threads with Kroil. Charles
