Well today was my very first day as 74 Vette owner!!! I discovered all the little things that can go wrong on a Vette that you wouldnt normally notice, but it was fun regardless. I am in much need of an answer about my headlights. Whenever I turn them on all four of the lights come one and the BRIGHTS light on my dash comes on and I cant figure how to adjust it from regular to brights? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Dan
Well Dan, Congradulations on your new old corvette. I see that you are 18 according to your profile, I am 17 and just bought my 73 about a month ago and I tell you what, its a hell of alotta fun. Good luck stompping on the floor getting those brights to turn off and have a great weekend with your vette!!!
Ha Ha!! I had to check your profile to confirm that you are a "young feller" because the bright light switch on your corvette is in the same location as all American cars back then. Not sure when we began copying the Europeans and putting the bright switch on the turn signal. :)
thanks thanks for all the replys, I asked my dad this morning before I got to check the forums and he showed me that it was under the dead pedal (right where you guys said) so thats one problem down a lot more to go!!! thanks guys
