Did it work before it was removed?
Is the case cracked or leaking?
Have you looked at the gears wear pattern?
If you're like me, and can't remember- or never knew- the correct wear pattern, take a pic and post it here.
I think there's also a way to check the lash between the ring and pinion.
The bearings might be questionable, and also the condition of the limited slip clutches too- but I don't know how to check those by eyeballin' them.
