Default Torque Specs on Valve Covers

Got some new Edlebrock chrome valve covers. What are the torque specs for them. I torqued them at 15 lb and they seem VERY tight. No leaks or anything...

I'd say 15ftlb was more than enough. Those bolts will snap easily. My BB valve covers spec at 115 inlb

10 lb/ft converts to 120 lb/in
14 lb/ft converts to 168 lb/in

Depends on the cover. Aluminum would not take as much torque as a stamped Steel cover and if you use too much on Aluminum you will crack the hole area and if you use too much on a stamped steel cover you will likely warp/deform the edge.
