Seat Insert
The back of each seat in my '79 has a carpet insert. The assembly manual shows that the inserts have rivets (or some kind of protrusion), but mine were glued on. One has fallen off and I would like to use the same adhesive to put it back on. It is a soft tan/yellow colored glue that was applied in a bead (not sprayed). Anyone have any experience with this problem?

Get some weatherstripping glue from your local parts store. It's about as close as your going to get to factory.
