Default cabin lights

HOwdy everybody. I havent driven my 78 at night in over 3 months. WHen i went to return some movies tonight , i noticed i had no lights by where my tach and spedometer are. This got me a little nervous driving without knowing how fas t iwas going. Is there something common i should look for, or maybe i need a new bulb? ANy ideas?? thanks in advance

Doubt it is a bulb issue given there are "several" that illuminate these guages...all work at one time. I would guess that there is an issue with the electrical connection to the cluster... before you pull the spedo and tach mounting frame out to check... Just for fun... rotate your interrior light dimmer a few times and check your fuse block. I belive all of the interrior lights operate off the same fuse but it's worth checking all possible before taking on a removal project. Just my thoughts...

Yes, the dimmer does not work. There is also a little switch by the aircondition controls with a little green light that also appears to do nothing. ANy ideas?
