Trim Tag Help for a 1978 Please. :)
A friend bought a 78 locally here in DFW. Need help deciphering the Trim Tag and VIN if you all can help.
Here goes;
Chevrolet L11
Trim 722 13U 07M
VIN 1Z87S438534

Here's what I came up with, open for corrections:
Trim 722=Red Leather
13U 07M= Silver Anniversary (15,283 built)
VIN 1Z87S438534 Missing some numbers?
Should be 1Z87L8S400001 through 1Z87L8S440274 or 1Z87L8S900001 through 1Z87L8S906502 (pace car)
The 5th digit in the VIN is the engine L= 350 CID 175/185 HP, 4= 350 CID 220 HP
