Which AFR heads are we talking about? Bestas compared to what. Somebody will always claim to out flow another persons heads. AFR makes good heads but so do others. Top flow also does not make the best head.

Also, there is more to life than peak flow numbers. You've got to match your heads to your cam, exhaust, gears, induction, etc.
This is why everybody doesn't run SBCs with 230 cc or bigger intake runners - such heads work well only in big cubic inch, high rev applications, but don't build torque or power in the cars most of us have in the RPM ranges most of us realistically drive at.

i bought a set of 195cc about 3 years ago, i really wanted the 190cc but i was thinking of future build up, my car has awsome tq, i kcked myself in the butt, because i thought the smaller heads woild of gave me more, but when they dropped the 190's and i hear positive feedback on the 195's it now makes me glad i made the right choice, today i only have 1.400 miles on the motor, maybe i should drive it more
