Default Front monospring conversion

I have worn out A-frame bushings, among other things, and was wondering if anyone has experience with the front monospring conversions? I can replace both A-frames with lighter weight tubular ones, get the mono spring and bolt it on myself and spend less than having someone rebuild my current A-frames. Pros-Cons? btw, I am thinking about autocross and would love to have the adjustability. I'm not worried about not being stock, I'll keep the old parts for when I decide to sell it.

I'm looking into the same conversion. Is there any weight savings over stock?

Made this conversion many years ago, including the upper and lower A-arms.

It is well worth the time and $$, especially if you need to put money and work into the front end anyway. IOW, this is an excellent time to make the change.

It is a fantastic system and you will like the improvement.

You may want to speak to your local auto-x club about your car's classification after changing to a mono spring. I think that you would be better classed and quite happy with the optional front springs, poly bushings and good shocks.

Made this complete conversion a year ago to the front mount transverse spring setup and a arms from VBP. In short wieght savings, better handling, complete adjustablity in spring rate and ride hieght. If you have to spend money to repair or replace this is money well spent. You will not be disappointed with the quality or performance. Only drawback NCRS.
