Default Holding the back window in

I just got a '69 BB T-Top car and I let the back window come out and I can not for the life of me figure out how to get it to go back into the car and stay tight in the seal? It has an aluminum frame that holds the glass and 2 small nipples on the bottom that go into the body of the car but I can't figure how to get the thing in there tight. Do the two silver clips at the top hold it in? If they are suppose to then they are way to loose to do the job so I may have to rig it to hold..........Thanks sorry but I am a vette rookie

Yup...the two clips at the top are supposed to keep it in place

Brian - They are adjustable. Under the trim there are slots under the screws. You could try that first. If that doesn't work and you want a cheap fix, you could cut some small rubber pads to glue to the "silver clips" where it contacts the window. Kind of a rubber shim. I just converted my 73 to one of these removeable windows and it's great.

Mine are very strong/tight. Sounds as if you need a little rebuilt in that area. Good luck with it. BTW, I leave the window out all of the time.

Mine are very tight as well. I didn't know they were adjustable. Maybe I need to back them off.

The bottom points should curve back toward the seats...in case you have it in backwards.
