Default Differential additive question

Did an archive search regarding the posi additive for our differentials and noticed a couple of people did not use the additive.... however they did make sure to use GL5 80w90 gear oil.

Any thoughts on this? Do most here use the additive or are there common oils out there that can be used without having to use additive? Thanks.

you need the additive so the clutches don't stick and give you that clicking noise as you make turns

Default Posi additive

I would strongly recommend using the GM posi additive , it is cheap insurance and keeps the clutch's quiet.
